Kıvanç Uzun, PhD, received his bachelor’s
degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy
University in 2014, his master’s degree in 2016, and his doctoral degree in
2023. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Guidance
and Psychological Counseling in 2026. Between 2014 and 2020, he worked as a
school counselor in various schools affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of
National Education. From 2020 to 2024, he served as a lecturer at Burdur Mehmet
Akif Ersoy University. Since 2024, he has been working as a faculty member in
the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Uşak University. His
main area of interest is preventive counseling services and positive
psychology-based intervention programs aimed at supporting the psychological
health and well-being of adolescents and emerging adults. He has published
national and international scientific studies within this scope.
