Sustainable Development Unveiled: Engaging Reviews and Inspiring Case Studies, Elsevier, ss.147-170, 2026
The study provides a comprehensive picture of the Turkish green energy sector, including wind, hydro, and solar, to respond to the current fragmentation in previous studies and reporting. Although multiple studies have explored different dimensions of the sector, but still there is no integrated picture of its present status, development, and future direction. On the basis, of the comprehensive overview of academic research, business publications, and policy briefs, the paper captures the essential trends and performance records in Turkey's renewable energy market. Results of the study reflect that the Turkish green energy sector has immensely shown stable growth in all three prominent segments. The contributors to this are the supportive regulatory regimes, technology innovations, and investments. This study adds value to the literature by providing an integrated approach capable of directing policymakers, investors, and industry players toward aligning strategic agendas with national goals of sustainability. The findings have policy implications in the identification of regulatory loopholes, maximizing resource efficiency, and enhancing green energy integration into Turkey's economic development agenda.
