Abstract

Noise affects human health from different perspectives (physiological, physical and psychological) and affects performance negatively in work and education. It is known that noise affects human health, health problems and behavioral disorders. For this reason, noise, which has significant effects on human health, has been subject to various studies for many years and various studies have been carried out to determine and control the effects of people on this problem. The noise problem is covered by the legislation all over the world. Important audits have been introduced in various countries. Despite these efforts, it is known that in most countries, the noise problem cannot be solved, the sources of noise are increasing and spreading over areas, and the noise levels and the negative effects are increasing. In this context; The difference between the older and novel arrangement of the Celal Bayar Boulevard, which is the busiest street in Ankara, has been analyzed and the traffic noise has been analyzed. In the selected study area; Until 2016, there was use without underpass and in the light of new regulations (in 2017), environmental noise measurements (Lgündüz, Lakşam, Lgece) were carried out at certain times in accordance with the legislation, vehicle counts were performed and the data and calculations (Lgag) were made. In this context, the current state of the road noise before and after the subway application (May 2016) and after (May 2017) (equivalent continuous sound pressure level-Leq); and analyzed. In the light of the current situation assessment on Celal Bayar Boulevard, measurement analyzes made at two points (points 9 and 10); according to the results obtained before the underpass study; Although the noise was reduced, the noise level was found to be above the limit values in both time periods (2016 and 2017).
