Seyahat günlüklerini ve yaşadıkları maceralı yolculuklarını video yayınlayarak, blog yazıları yazarak ya da her iki yöntemi de kullanarak yayınlayan pek çok vlogger motosiklet sürücüsü bulunmaktadır. Vlogger, “Video-logger” kelimesinin kısaltılmış halidir. “Video-logger” ise, videolar oluşturan kişi manasına gelmektedir. Vlogger’lar; Blogger’lar ile aynı işi yapmalarına karşın yazmak yerine kamera kullanmayı tercih etmektedirler. İçerik üreticileri açısından Youtube popüler Vlog kanalları arasında yer almaktadır. Bu anlamda sadık takipçileri olan motosiklet sürücüleri yolculuk görüntülerini dünya çapında pek çok izleyici ile paylaşabilmektedirler. Macera turizminin sert turizm kısmı içinde yer alan motosiklet ile seyahat hem fiziksel hem de psikolojik olarak yoğun çaba gerektirmesi nedeniyle erkeklerin daha rahat yapabilecekleri bir tür olarak görülmektedir. Son yıllarda seyahat maceralarını paylaşan kadın motosiklet sürücüleri Youtube’da yüksek abonelik sayıları ve izlenme oranlarıyla bu aktivitenin erkeklere özgü bir iş olmadığını ortaya koymaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada; motosikletleriyle maceralı yolculuklara çıkan maceraperest kadın motosiklet sürücülerinin Youtube’da ürettikleri içerikler ve bu içeriklere yapılan yorumlar incelenerek söz konusu sürücülerin toplumsal cinsiyet kalıp yargıları ile mücadelede üstlendikleri roller üzerine nitel analiz yöntemlerinden netnografya tekniğiyle bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında Itchy Boots ve On Her Bike kanallarından yayınlandıkları dönemlerde aldıkları yorum sayıları göz önünde bulundurularak birer adet video seçilmiştir. Yorumlar incelendiğinde her iki Youtube kanalını takip edenlerin; güç, dayanıklılık, azim ve cesaretine övgü yapanlar ve saygı ve hayranlık duyanlar-ilham kaynağı olarak görenler olmak üzere iki grupta incelenebileceği anlaşılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmada her iki sürücünün zorluklara meydan okumalarına yönelik takdir ve hayranlık içeren yorumların ağırlıkta olduğu görülmüştür. Yorumlar arasında; cesaret, azim, kararlılık, kadın gücü, ilham kaynağı olma kelimeleri ön plana çıkmıştır. Kadın motosiklet sürücülerinin yayınladıkları görsel ve yazılı içeriklerle toplumsal cinsiyet kalıp yargıları ile mücadelede önemli bir yol kat ettikleri ifade edilebilir.
There are many vlogger motorcycle riders who post their travel diaries and their adventurous journeys by posting videos, writing blog posts or using both methods. Vlogger is short for “Video-logger”. “Video-logger” means the person who creates videos. Vloggers, although they do the same job as bloggers, prefer to use cameras instead of writing. In terms of content producers, Youtube is among the popular Vlog channels. In this sense, motorcycle riders who are loyal followers can share their journey images with many viewers around the world. Traveling by motorcycle is considered a part of adventure tourism is seen as a type that men can do more comfortably because it requires intense effort both physically and psychologically. Female motorcycle riders, who have shared their travel adventures through videos and written content in recent years, reveal that this activity is not a job specific to men, with high subscription numbers and viewing rates on Youtube. In this study; by examining the content produced on Youtube by adventurous female motorcycle drivers who go on adventurous journeys with their motorcycles and the comments made on these contents, the research was carried out with the method of netrography on the roles of these drivers in combating gender stereotypes. Within the scope of the study, some videos were selected from Itchy Boots and On Her Bike channels, taking into account the number of comments they received during their broadcasts. When the comments are analyzed, those who follow both YouTube channels; It is understood that it can be studied in two groups: those who praise their strength, endurance, determination and courage, and those who feel respect and admiration - those who see him as a source of inspiration. In the study it was seen that the comments containing appreciation and admiration for the challenges of both drivers were dominant. Among the comments; words of courage, perseverance, determination, female power, being a source of inspiration came to the fore. It can be stated that female motorcycle drivers have made signifacant progress in combationg gender stereotypes through the visual and written content they publish.
