Özet
This paper applies the variational iteration method to the regularized long wave equation. In this method, a generalized Lagrange multiplier is introduced to construct a correction functional for the discussed problem. The multiplier can be identified optimally via variational theory. Three invariants of the motion are evaluated to determine the conservation properties of the system. © 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
