Financial and technical supports of regional development agencies in Turkey: The case of two provinces from different development agencies

Özet
In Turkey, Regional Development Agencies (RDA) have been providing technical and financial supports at the regional level. In the context of the study, financial and technical supports of the Development Agencies have been searched with the case of two provinces in Turkey, which are determined according to the well-being index for provinces of TurkStat (2015), and the first province is Bolu from Marka East Marmara Development Agency (TR42) having a good well-being overall index of '3' in comparison to the other selected province of Sanliurfa having the total well-being overall index of '73' from Karacadag Development Agency (TRC2). The projects in Bolu and in Sanliurfa that gained financial and technical support of the agencies within the scope of the financial and technical programs of Development Agencies at the provincial level have searched from the noble project lists' announcements of each Development agency, to find out the fundamental areas of the successful projects that are supported by the agencies in each province.
