Özet
Harassment stands out as one of the most significant forms of bullying individuals face in social life. With the rise of social media networks, harassment has also taken on an online form. Particularly on social media networks, women, in various forms, are frequently subjected to online harassment. High-profile women, who are highly visible in both the social and digital realms, emerge as the primary victims of online harassment. Among these high-profile women, journalists, especially those in sports journalism, are crucial targets of online harassment. Female sports journalists, aligned with the hegemonic nature of sports, face exclusion and various forms of online harassment on social media networks. Although female sports journalists have developed various strategies to cope with online harassment, the flexible nature of social media networks makes it challenging to overcome this issue. In both societal and digital realms, female sports journalists encounter exclusion, gendered experiences, and hegemonic pressures.
