Özet
Social media, with its structure that emphasizes user interaction, has become a significant participant in contemporary social life. In the present day, much like any other societal institution, the sports industry actively utilizes social media networks and prefers communication that highlights interaction with users. On the other hand, journalism stands out as one of the institutions most influenced by and transformed through social media. In social media networks, there are journalists attempting to uphold traditional journalistic norms, as well as those who adapt to this new era. Among the areas where the most significant transformation in journalistic norms has occurred is sports journalism. The active use of social media by key stakeholders in sports has led to the utilization of social media by sports journalists as both a source of news and a platform for journalism. Although traditional journalistic routines have undergone transformation on social media, sports journalism continues to maintain its strength as a crucial field, especially with the emergence of new application areas on social media.
