The effects of 2 row spacing (17.5 and 35 cm) and 4 seeding rates (40, 60, 80 and 100 kg ha -1) on dry matter yield, seed yield and yield components of hungarian vetch (Vicia pannonica Crantz.) were evaluated under rainfed conditions of Turkey during the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 growing seasons. Based on the 2 year results, the row spacing and seeding rate had a significant effect on most of the measured traits and the yield components except quality parameters. The highest dry matter yield obtained for 17.5 cm row spacing and 80 kg ha -1 seeding rate, while the highest seed yield was determined in 35 cm row spacing and 80 kg ha -1 seeding rate combination.
