Özet

Increase in waste amounts due to high population of world and continuously changing life standards of humankind pollute nature swiftly. However, noise and electromagnetic field caused by production mass and use of developed technologies are another pollution that affects human life. Since waste production amount of textile goods is about %5 of industrial solid waste in Turkey, it becomes vital to produce value-added goods from these textile wastes by recycling. In this study, literature search was carried out about textiles surfaces generated from recycled textiles wastes. Textiles surfaces were investigated how effective they are in term of sound, thermal insulation and electromagnetic shielding tests in literature search. On the other hand, it was tried to be a source of inspiration for further productions and designs having low cost, insulation and shielding features by investigating performances where these surfaces are used.
