Abstract

Meskhetian Turks, having exposed to cruelties just because they were Turks, continue to live in nine different countries today. Expecting the repatriation day, Meskhetian Turks have been able to resist all the hardships as they have maintained their identity through protecting their own customs and traditions. Today, though many of them live so far from their motherland, almost all Meskhetian Turks are faithful to their conventional way of life. In this paper, we have studied the marriage and wedding traditions of Meskhetian Turks living in the USA.
