The purpose of this research is to reveal the views of families with special needs children about the distance education process carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this research, phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. The study group of the research consists of 15 parents with special needs children. The data has been collected using the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. The collected data were categorized, and the themes and the codes and sub-codes linked to these themes were reached by examining the relationships between the categories. As a result, the themes of the efficiency of the distance education process, the activities of the parents during the distance education process, the problems encountered in the distance education process and the supports provided by the Ministry of National Education in the distance education process have been formed. The findings obtained in the study were discussed with the relevant literature and various suggestions were made
