Abstract

Murgul pyrite ore from the city of Artvin, Turkey was analysed by means of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) by using the standard addition method. The XRF method with an 241Am annular source of excitation and a Si(Li) detector is employed The results give useful knowledge about the concentration levels of Fe, Cu, As, Sn, Sb, In and I in Murgul pyrite ore. © 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd.
